Privacy Overview
Privacy is very important and taken most seriously by Likey. In this document we describe which data Likey use and how. We also describe some of the measures we have taken to protect your privacy.
Your data
Likey is an app to help you remember things. The following is data you can enter into Likey if you wish to:
- Basic subscriber information, like e-mail and password (needed to use Likey).
- Text
- Images (Likey needs your permission to access Camera and Gallery)
- Location (Likey needs your permission to access your position)
- Barcodes (Likey needs your permission to access Camera if you want to enter barcodes)
Location is used to let you sort notes on distance from current location. If you don’t want Likey to access your location information, you can turn of access to location in your settings. When you start using the app it will ask for permission and you can update this at any time.
Barcodes are used to help you quickly identify products you have created notes for. By scanning the barcode again, you can quickly open up your note. Likey might use information from barcodes to help you find other products you might like.
If you ever wish to access (in machine readable format) or delete your data you can do so by contacting Likey. If you stop being a customer your data will automatically be deleted after three years.
Your data is yours and not ours. We do not share it with third parties, except for our technical partner Google, see Security.
Other data
Likey collects generalized information about usage to help us analyze and improve the product. For example it collects information about how long and how often users in a certain country uses it.
We also collect device information, this helps us troubleshoot if there are issues with particular devices.
Security
All data is stored in Google Cloud and use security provided by that service.
Children
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at privacy@likeyapp.com. We will delete the data in reasonable time, after evidence of parent or guardianship.
Opt-out
You can opt-out from processing of location data by turning off access to location in your settings. You can also turn off access to camera and gallery to make sure you don’t accidentally take a picture in Likey. This will also protect you from getting recommendations for other products you might like.
